Congress: Block Cuts to Safe Water

As we enter 2026, we’re urging Congress to stand firm against Trump’s toxic agenda by passing a spending bill that funds clean water and safe food.

Our activism in 2025 made a significant impact – the House dropped its Cancer Gag Act provision, and the cuts to clean water have been lessened – but this bill still eliminates $125 million in existing lead service line replacement funding.

The spending bill returns to the House THIS WEEK for a vote before being sent to the Senate and then to Trump. Let’s keep the pressure on to protect safe, lead-free water!
