Rep. Nunn: Hands Off Our Democracy!

Last week, House Republicans passed a budget resolution that will cut funding for essential programs — all to pay for tax cuts for billionaires and corporations. One of the programs being considered for extreme cuts is free school lunch for kids.

Under the current budget proposal, nearly 70,000 kids in Iowa will lose access to free school lunch.

On April 5th, more than 4,000 activists took to the streets in Des Moines as part of the national HANDS OFF day of action. We called on Iowa Representative Zach Nunn to work for us, not billionaires, and oppose the Trump-Musk agenda.

Now, we’re carrying the momentum forward and escalating pressure on Nunn to reverse his support on the House budget resolution.
