EPA: Monitor for microplastics!

The average person consumes 4,000 or more microplastic particles from drinking water each year. Microplastics consumption presents a significant health risk—including an increased risk of cancer—yet the EPA hasn’t taken steps to monitor and regulate microplastics in drinking water.

That’s why Food & Water Watch just filed a legal petition with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to begin to address this huge microplastics problem.

Send a message to EPA: Monitor for microplastics to keep our water safe!
