Congress: Pass the NO SHT Act!

Some factory farms are intentionally feeding chicken litter — which includes dead birds, feathers, and chicken excrement — to cows, posing a risk of spreading disease from animals to humans. But there is a new bill to stop this disgusting practice.

The NO Stool in Herds’ Troughs (NO SHT) Act would prohibit the intentional addition of excrement to animal feed.
