Faith, Climate and Fracking: A Moral Call to Action, Newtown, PA
Newtown Friends Meeting

Pope Francis

Just a few months ago, Pope Francis published Laudato Si, his Encyclical urging action on climate change. Now, in the days before the Pope’s visit to Southeastern Pennsylvania, please join us for a discussion of the moral and social justice impacts of climate change and fracking.

On Saturday, September 12, we'll meet in Newtown to hear from speakers on the moral impacts of climate change, Pope Francis' message in Laudato Si, and the work going on in Bucks County and around Pennsylvania to fight climate change by stopping fracking.

Faith leaders can also support this campaign by signing our letter to Gov. Wolf, calling on him to stop fracking.

This event is free and open to the public, but RSVPs are appreciated.
