We all have a human right to water, and we need to make sure our Baltimore elected officials respect that.

Join us at Red Emma's on Wednesday, August 9th, to learn how you can help ensure affordable access to water in Baltimore.

Since 2000, water rates have tripled in Baltimore City. When our neighbors can't afford to keep up with steeply climbing water bills, the City will shut off their water, renters are evicted and homeowners will lose their homes at the annual tax sale. That's not right.

With the lack of substantial assistance from the Department of Public Works, it’s time for radical change to come from City Hall. Access to safe, affordable water is a fundamental human right, one that our City must affirm for all Baltimoreans.

Join us to hear from an expert panel about how we got into this mess, the proposed solutions, and what YOU can do to ensure that everyone in our city has access to water. Grab your friends and join us!

Panelists will include:
-Delegate Mary Washington, 43rd District
-Eddie Conway, Producer at the Real News Network
-Komal Vaidya, Clinical Teaching Fellow with the Community Development Clinic at the University of Baltimore

Together, we can make sure everyone in our city has affordable access to water.
