Let Me Decide! Hearing to make GE food labeling the law in Illinois Carbondale, IL
Southern Illinois University

For the first time ever, the Illinois Legislature invites you to share your stance on genetically engineered (GE) foods and whether we should label them.

If you believe you have the right to know what you are eating and feeding your family, join us on Wednesday, August 7 for a public debate between supporters of labeling and the opposition. State Senators will be present to hear why GE food labeling should become the law!

We will be represented by a panel of expert witnesses, but we need your help to pack the room with supporters to show our lawmakers that Illinois voters demand the right to know what we're eating.  Everyone present will have the opportunity to submit written testimony.

THIS is our opportunity to show Illinois lawmakers that we demand to know what's hidden in our food. Bring your friends and farmers!
